LIGONIER — Four Columbia City runners advance to next week’s semi-state cross country meet after running well in Saturday’s West Noble Regional.

The regional was largely dominated by Carroll High School, which won both the boys and girls races.

In the boys race, Landon Wakeman and Nathan Mills finished 17th and 26th, respectively, to advance to next week’s semi-state at The Plex in Fort Wayne.

Twins Lillian and Eden Oddou finished 25th and 31st, respectively, in the girls race to join their teammates.

Columbia City’s Nick Mills finished 45th in the boys race to round off Columbia City’s runners.

Six Churubusco runners competed in the regional.

Sam Keily paced the Eagle runners in 48th, followed by Levi Skinner in 77th, Eli Lantz in 79th and Shawn Prater in 83rd.

For the girls, Churubusco’s Katie Graft finished 71st and Jamie Zeigler 75th.
